A doctor, teacher, and coach who knows the journey.
Background & approach
For more than 20 years, I've walked the path of chiropractic practice, education, and mentoring.
My early clinical experience in orthopedic, surgical, and ophthalmology settings gave me a valuable perspective on how chiropractic care fits within the broader healthcare system. I also know firsthand what it means to juggle enormous responsibility while chasing big goals.
As a single mother of three since the start of chiropractic school, I understand better than most the challenges of balancing family, finances, school, and personal growth. That lived experience shapes how I teach — with empathy, flexibility, and real-world strategies that work even when life is complicated.

Beyond classroom walls
When I'm not teaching, I practice what I teach — living a balanced life rooted in healing and growth.
You'll find me adjusting patients and mentoring new doctors, exploring yoga, hiking, and paddle boarding with my dogs, and speaking and writing about the power of chiropractic, neuroscience, and trauma recovery.
It's the same philosophy I bring to board prep: real growth happens when knowledge, body, and confidence move together — not in isolation.

Passing boards is an important milestone, but it is not the final destination. I created Chiro Boards & Beyond to help students connect what they learn in school to what they need for boards, and then carry that knowledge beyond the exam into confident, thoughtful clinical practice
