NBCE Part III Board Review

Stop Studying Part III as Disconnected Subjects. Start Seeing the Whole Patient.

Part III is where your board examination becomes much more clinical.

You're no longer being asked to simply remember individual facts. You're being given symptoms, examination findings, imaging, history, and clinical clues, then being asked to determine what they mean when you put them together.

That's exactly how the Chiro Boards & Beyond Part III Review is organized.

The program covers the material outlined in the NBCE Part III Test Plan, but I don't teach it as a collection of disconnected test-plan categories.

Instead, I've reorganized the clinical, neuromusculoskeletal, diagnostic, and X-ray material by body region, allowing you to study the information as a complete clinical picture.

Patient Presentation History Examination Findings  Diagnosis X-ray Clinical Reasoning

Because that's much closer to how you're going to need to retrieve the information on your exam, and eventually, how you're going to use it with your patients.

NBCE Part I Board Review

Learn It. Understand It. Recognize It on Boards. Use It in Practice.

Part I is a lot of information; but preparing for it shouldn't mean trying to memorize everything you learned in chiropractic school all over again.

The Chiro Boards & Beyond Part I Board Review is a comprehensive, on-demand review built around the NBCE Part I Test Plan and backed by more than 20 years of chiropractic board-review teaching experience.

You'll review all six Part I subjects with detailed video instruction designed to help you understand the material, recognize how NBCE may ask about it, and begin making the connections you'll need again on Parts II, III, IV, and eventually in clinical practice.

Why is this Part III review organized differently?

The NBCE Test Plan tells us what you need to know. But that doesn't necessarily mean it's the easiest way to learn, organize, and retrieve the information. That's why I reorganized the Part III material.

Instead of studying General Diagnosis over here, Neuromusculoskeletal Diagnosis over there, and X-ray somewhere else, we bring related information together by body region.

The NBCE Test Plan tells us what you need to know.

But that doesn't necessarily mean it's the easiest way to learn, organize, and retrieve the information. That's why I reorganized the Part III material.

02

So we bring related information together by body region.

Instead of studying General Diagnosis over here, Neuromusculoskeletal Diagnosis over there, and X-ray somewhere else.

03

Take the cervical spine, for example.

We're not just memorizing a list of cervical conditions — we're building the entire clinical picture:

How does the patient present?
What would you expect in the history?
What neurological or orthopedic findings might be present?
What diagnoses should you be considering?
What would you expect to see on X-ray?
What other conditions look similar?
What information in the vignette helps you differentiate them?
04
Now the information has somewhere to connect.

Less disjointed information. More complete clinical pictures.

Learn Part III the Way You'll Need to Think Through It

Part III questions often require you to pull information from several different areas at once.

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS IN THE ROOM
"A patient doesn't walk into your office as a chapter titled 'Neuromusculoskeletal Diagnosis.'"
1

They walk in with a complaint.

2

They give you a history.

3

You examine them.

4

You interpret the findings.

5

You look at imaging when appropriate.

6

Then you determine what those pieces mean together.

WHY WE TRAIN IT THIS WAY

That's the thinking process we're developing throughout this course.

Instead of memorizing isolated facts, you're learning to recognize clinical patterns.

And once you recognize the pattern, the question becomes much easier to solve.

WHAT'S COVERED

20+ Hours of Comprehensive Part III Instructions

Your Part III Board Review includes 20+ hours of on-demand recorded instruction, along with supporting PDF materials.

The course provides detailed review of the major Part III content areas, including:

General Diagnosis

Neuromusculoskeletal Diagnosis

Clinical presentations and differential diagnosis

Extensive Diagnostic Imaging and X-ray review

Commonly tested clinical vignettes

Board-focused question strategy

Common multiple-choice traps and distractors

But instead of keeping these topics isolated from one another, I bring them together by body region and clinical presentation.

This allows you to compare related conditions while the information is fresh, connect clinical findings with imaging, and understand why one diagnosis fits while another does not.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

From Classroom, to Boards, to Clinic

Part I isn't information you're supposed to memorize and forget — it's the foundation. Concepts you learn now will show up again in Parts II, III, and IV, and eventually with a patient in front of you.

01

You learned it in school.

02

Now let's understand how it may be tested on boards.

03

Then let's connect it to where you'll see it again.

04

And ultimately, let's understand why it matters in clinical practice.

That's the "Beyond" in Chiro Boards & Beyond.

On-Demand Doesn't Mean On Your Own

Buying an on-demand course shouldn't mean you're handed a collection of videos and expected to figure everything else out yourself. Your Part I enrollment also includes access to live online Office Hours with Dr. Jo.

Office Hours give you an opportunity to come back and ask questions about the material you're studying. Use them to get clarification on a concept that isn't clicking, ask questions about material from the lectures, hear questions from other students, or make additional connections between the material and how it may appear on boards.

Built for different brains

Not every student learns the same way, and not every brain responds well to hours of rote memorization.

Chiro Boards & Beyond incorporates organization, repetition, analogies, clinical connections, and the ability to revisit material to make learning more accessible to different types of learners, including neurodivergent students.

Need to stop for ten minutes? Stop.

Need to replay something three times? Replay it.

Need to hear the explanation before the details make sense? That's okay.

Need to come to Office Hours and ask the question another way? Come ask it.

Because Your Nervous System Matters as Much as Your Score.
